How To Enter

How To Enter - Information for Nominations

The entry process has been simplified with a short online application form, providing contact information which can be completed quickly and simply.

1. Read the Categories and Criteria to select the one(s) you would like to enter and for the specific questions to be answered in your entry.

2. Check the Judges Criteria and Hints & Tips below for additional guidance on how to structure your entries.

3. Please read the Terms & Conditions to ensure that you are eligible and meet all of the entry requirements.

4. To make a nomination complete the entry form which requires the general information for each entry. We suggest that you cut and paste the brief company overview for each entry to save retyping each time. Read the criteria for the category you are entering carefully and make sure you address each element in your response.

5. Entry Length
– Individual Entries A-G
should be no more than 3 sides of A4, written in a 12-point typeface plus 2 additional A4 pages of additional evidence to support the entry (images, quotes, testimonials, etc) = 5 pages in total.

– Individual Entries H-J (Support Manager, CCM and Senior Manager) should be no more than 4 sides of A4, written in a 12-point typeface plus up to 3 additional A4 pages of attachments to support the entry (images, quotes, testimonials, etc) = 7 pages in total.

– All Company/Team Entries K-U should be no more than 5 sides of A4, written in a 12-point typeface plus 4 additional A4 page of attachments to support the entry (images – quotes – evidence, etc) = 9 pages in total. 

6. Entrants for the Individual Categories must be nominated by a manager within the organisation. These entries should be written in the third person, and the person nominated must approve the entry.

7. Individual entries should outline:

– The individual’s role and responsibilities within the organisation 

– The individual’s performance or targets during 2021 and up to June 2022, their achievements against them. 

– Any activities, projects or initiatives that the individual has undertaken or instigated which has enhanced performance or standards

– What impact the individual’s actions or performance has had on customers, teams, departments or the wider organisation.

8. Entries for the Company Categories should be written by the team themselves and endorsed by a departmental manager.

9. As part of your Company entry please tell us:

– Why the company/team initiative was developed 

– How it was created/implemented

– What results have been achieved (include targets where possible)

– Provide any additional evidence of success.

10. Entrants may include in the application supporting evidence which consist of one or more of the following:

– Testimonials (for example, feedback from customers or clients, peers, team leaders, managers or other departments in your organisation acknowledging excellent performance).

– Performance review document, targets, etc, amendments to processes based on your feedback/recommendations.

– Case studies or any other supporting evidence

11. Remember to submit before the closing date – 8 June 2022.

12. All entries will be assessed to ensure that they meet the criteria before being judged by an independent group of industry experts via virtual panel.

13. Virtual judging panels will be held on 29 & 30 June 2022.

14. Shortlisted finalists in the Outsourced Contact Centre of the Year category will be asked to submit a short video showcasing their centre, introducing key colleagues and discussing their client partnership (with the option of including the client). The video will be shown and discussed at a virtual judging panel.

15. Shortlisted finalists in the Inhouse Contact Centre of the Year category will be asked to submit a short video showcasing their centre, talking to their key colleagues, and discussing their customer service strategy. The video will be shown and discussed at a virtual judging panel.

The eligibility period for these nominations is for activity undertaken during 2021 and up to June 2022.

Individual Awards

Individuals cannot nominate themselves – they must be nominated by a manager and the entries should be written in the third person.

For all of the Individual Awards you need to tell us why the individual is exceptional and deserves recognition within their specific category.

Individual Entries A-G should be no more than 3 sides of A4, written in a 12-point typeface plus 2 additional A4 pages of additional evidence to support the entry (images, quotes, testimonials, etc) = 5 pages in total.

Individual Entries H-J (Support Manager, CCM and Senior Manager) should be no more than 4 sides of A4, written in a 12-point typeface plus up to 3 additional A4 pages of attachments to support the entry (images, quotes, testimonials, etc) = 7 pages in total.

  1. Outline the individual’s role and responsibilities within the organisation
  2. Outline the individual’s performance or targets during 2021 and up to June 2022 and their achievements against them
  3. Outline any activities, projects or initiatives that the individual has undertaken, taken part in or instigated – which has enhanced performance or standards.
  4. Provide evidence of what impact the individual has had on customers, teams, departments or the wider organisation.

Company Awards

As these are team categories entries must be written by the team themselves and endorsed by a line manager. Submissions should be no more than 5 sides of A4, written in a 12-point typeface. You may also include up to 4 additional A4 pages of attachments to support your entry (images – quotes – evidence, etc). 

As part of your entry please tell us: – why the company/team initiative was developed – how it was created/implemented – what results have been achieved (include targets where possible) – provide any additional evidence of success 

Any national or regional initiatives submitted must have been carried out within a Wales-based contact centre during 2021 and up to June 2022.

Please address the following requirements:

  1. Read the categories and criteria carefully to decide which categories are appropriate and what the judges are looking for.
  2. Ensure you provide sufficient evidence (descriptions, testimonials, results, KPIs, etc) to support your entries.
  3. Make sure you promote the competition in-house to get as many winners as possible from your organisation. 
  4. You can make up to three entries in each category, allowing you to involve as many of your staff from as many departments as you wish.
