Wales Data Nation Accelerator – stakeholder engagement workshops
Developed collaboratively by four of the universities in Wales (Aberystwyth, Bangor, Cardiff and Swansea) following the Brown Review Wales 4.0which looked at the current use and future potential of digital technologies in Wales this initiative aims to support and facilitate co-creation of data driven innovation with industry, and crucially its application within key industries in Wales, as well as developing a strong, dynamic talent pool.
A series of online workshops are being held to take the proposal on to the next level. They each focus on the challenge areas that the programme will address and provide employers and stakeholder with the opportunity to shape the development of the asset and its operations.
Attached is brochure which provides more information on the Wales Data Nation Accelerator. This development has involved senior research leads in each institution with the endorsement of relevant vice chancellors and DVCs/PVCs. The proposal also enjoys the support of a wide range of companies as well as support from significant stakeholders and influencers.
