Training opportunities with British Gas this February

Need help getting a job! Are you trapped in the vicious circle of you can’t get a job because you don’t have experience but you cant get experience because you don’t have a job? If so, British Gas can help. We’re offering two free, action-packed weeks of skills training, in partnership with Movement to Work, to build self-confidence and help prepare young people for work.

During the 2 weeks, you will gain an awareness of our products & services & get the opportunity to spend time with a customer services team & shadow one of our engineers, installing and servicing heating products & energy systems.

Although unpaid, the programme is designed to deliver a wide range of positive outcomes helping you gain new skills & experience & improve self-confidence. We will give you the experience you need so you can get the job you deserve.

What do you need?

• You need to be aged 16 to 24

• Not in employment, FT education or training

• Have no unspent convictions

• Be available for the full 2 weeks

The taster day for the programme will take place at our British Gas offices at 4 Callaghan Square, Tresillian Way, Cardiff CF10 5BT on 6th February 2018

At the taster day, we will select a number of people to start the 2-week work experience programme with British Gas commencing on 12th February 2018
